"Tim, I'd like to thank you for an awesome holiday / experience in Nepal. All the organisation was much appreciated and the good humour with which you ran the trip. The mountain was of course amazing too and it will be a month to remember for along time to come. Again thanks" - Rik

The Yellow Band on Everest - around 7,500m.

Above the Yellow Band and making our way towards The Geneva Spur.

Giles ascending The Geneva Spur, en route to The South Col and so on to the summit of Everest.

Jen enjoying the steep terrain on The Geneva Spur.

Giles at the top of The Geneva Spur with Everest in a maelstrom in the background.

Approaching The South Col. At just under 8,000m above sea level it is a great place from which to mount an Everest summit bid.

Carnage at The South Col on Everest.

Chilling on Os at The South Col.

The view from The South Col. You can make out the route all the way up to The Balcony and on to The South Summit of Everest.

Jen about to set off from The South Col on her bid to summit Everest.

Partha booted and suited and ready to go to the summit of Everest.

Padawa (18 times Everest summiteer) above The Balcony.

Sunrise and Kanchenjunga in the distance.

The mighty Makalu - 5th highest peak in the world.

Looking back down to 'The Balcony.'

Quite steep terrain!

Jen above The Balcony. Still more than an hour to go to the summit of Everest -0 and that's if you're moving well. Which she was.

Approaching Everest's south summit.

Looking towards the summit of Everest from the south summit. Still over an hour to go!!! The Hillary Step is about 3/4 of the way up the photo, in the sun, with people climbing it.

Giles on the summit of Everest.

Partha on the summit of Everest.

Jen on the summit of Everest.

Jen and Susan on the summit of Everest.

On the summit of Everest - my second ascent.

Our awesome Climbing Sherpas carried massive loads down the mountain. We couldn't be on Everest without them.

An early start on the final morning to get back down through The khumbu Icefall and down to Everest Base Camp before it gets too hot.

A last look up at The Lhotse Face slightly in awe of what we had just achieved - a highly coveted successful ascent of Everest.

Now all you need to do is get in touch about TheBigE2012 and experience it for yourself

Climbing Sherpas on an Everest expedition are an integral part of your team. Make sure you are with the best - not necessarily the ones with the most summits.

The summit of Mount Everest

A Mount Everest Expedition is hard enough work without it also being a chore. If it's not any fun then it is going to be a long expedition.

The views from the summit of Mount Everest are simply stunning.

Togged up and raring to go. Departing Camp 2 on our Everest expedition in cold and windy conditions in 2005.
